Does it work with iPhones and Androids?

Yes — every modern iPhone (XS and newer) and Android (basically all from the past 7 years) supports NFC out of the box. No setup required on the customer's side. We also include a QR code on every product as a fallback for older phones.
How long does setup take?

Is this against Google's terms of service?
